Marianna Bernal Arteaga

Principal Physiotherapist & Director

I’m an experienced physiotherapist based in Brighton, QLD, known for a clinical approach that is thorough, hands‑on, and grounded in genuine care. For years I’ve helped people move better, feel stronger, and understand their bodies with clarity and confidence. My practice is built on the belief that great physiotherapy is never rushed, never generic, and always centred on the individual.

How I Work

My sessions are designed to get to the root of the problem — not just the symptoms. I take the time to listen, assess, and understand the full picture so treatment is purposeful and effective. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to explain things clearly, think critically, and create a plan that actually makes sense for their life.

My approach blends:

  • Hands‑on manual therapy to restore movement and reduce pain
  • Targeted exercise prescription that is achievable and tailored
  • Movement retraining to build long‑term resilience
  • Education that empowers you to take control of your recovery

I don’t believe in quick fixes or cookie‑cutter programs. Everything I do is intentional, evidence‑based, and personalised.

My Clinical Philosophy

I believe physiotherapy should feel collaborative, not clinical. You deserve a practitioner who listens deeply, explains clearly, and works with you to create lasting change. My goal is always to help you understand your body, trust it again, and move with confidence — whether that’s at work, at home, or doing the activities you love.

Who I Work Best With

I work with people who value high‑quality care and want a physiotherapist who takes the time to get things right. Many of my clients come to me after trying other approaches that didn’t quite hit the mark. They’re ready for something more thoughtful, more personalised, and more effective.

I’m especially passionate about helping:

  • Adults with persistent or recurring musculoskeletal issues
  • People wanting to return to meaningful movement
  • Workers with load‑related or postural pain
  • Anyone seeking a clinician who is experienced, thorough, and genuinely invested in their progress

What You Can Expect

When you walk into my clinic, you can expect a calm, supportive environment where your story matters. You’ll receive a clear explanation of what’s going on, a treatment plan that fits your life, and ongoing guidance to help you stay well long after your sessions end.

My promise is simple: to help you move better, feel better, and live better — with care that’s grounded in experience, integrity, and genuine connection.
